SEC. 2502. AUTHOraZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS, NATO. Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1998, for contributions by the Secretary of Defense under section 2806 of title 10, United States Code, for the share of the United States of the cost of projects for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Security Investment program authorized by section 2501, in the amount of $154,000,000. TITLE XXVI—GUARD AND RESERVE FORCES FACILITIES Sec. 2601. Authorized Guard and Reserve construction and land acquisition projects. Sec. 2602. Modification of authority to carry out fiscal year 1998 project. SEC. 2601. AUTHORIZED GUARD AND RESERVE CONSTRUCTION AND LAND ACQUISITION PROJECTS. (a) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. —T here are authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1998, for the costs of acquisition, architectural and engineering services, and construction of facilities for the Guard and Reserve Forces, and for contributions therefor, under chapter 1803 of title 10, United States Code (including the cost of acquisition of land for those facilities), the following amounts: (1) For the Department of the Army— (A) for the Army National Guard of the United States, $142,403,000; and (B) for the Army Reserve, $ 102,119,000. (2) For the Department of the Navy, for the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve, $31,621,000. (3) For the Department of the Air Force— (A) for the Air National Guard of the United States, $169,801,000; and (B) for the Air Force Reserve, $34,371,000. (b) ADJUSTMENT.—(1) The amount authorized to be appropriated pursuant to subsection (a)(1)(A) is reduced by $2,000,000, which represents the combination of project savings in military construction resulting from favorable bids, reduced overhead costs, and cancellations due to force structure changes. (2) The amount authorized to be appropriated pursuant to subsection (a)(3)(A) is reduced by $4,000,000, which represents the combination of project savings in military construction resulting from favorable bids, reduced overhead costs, and cancellations due to force structure changes. SEC. 2602. MODIFICATION OF AUTHORITY TO CARRY OUT FISCAL YEAR 1998 PROJECT. Section 2603 of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1998 (division B of Public Law 105-85; 111 Stat. 1983) is amended to read as follows:
