(a) CALENDAR YEAR 2000. —Subchapter II of chapter 99 is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new heading: 9902.32.67 Direct black 195 (CAS No. 160612- 93-6) (provided for in subheading 3204.14.30) No change No change On or before 12/31/2000 (b) CALENDAR YEAR 2001.— (1) IN GENERAL. —Heading 9902.32.67, as added by subsection (a), is amended— (A) by striking "7.8%" and inserting "7.1%"; and (B) by striking "On or before 12/31/2000" and inserting "On or before 12/31/2001". (2) EFFECTIVE DATE. —The amendments made by paragraph (1) shall take effect on January 1, 2001.
