(d) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY. — The exact acreage and legal description of the real property to be conveyed under subsection (a) shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Administrator. The cost of the survey shall be borne by the City. (e) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. — The Administrator may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the conveyance under subsection (a) as the Administrator considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States. PART II—NAVY CONVEYANCES SEC. 2841. TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION, CENTERVILLE BEACH NAVAL STATION, HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. (a) TRANSFER AUTHORIZED. — The Secretary of the Navy may transfer, without reimbursement, to the administrative jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Interior the real property, including any improvements thereon, consisting of the closed Centerville Beach Naval Station in Humboldt County, California, for the purpose of permitting the Secretary of the Interior to manage the real property as open space or for other public purposes. (b) LEGAL DESCRIPTION. —The exact acreage and legal description of the real property to be transferred under this section shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary of the Navy. The cost of the survey shall be borne by the Secretary of the Interior. (c) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. — The Secretary of the Navy may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the transfer under subsection (a) as the Secretary of the Navy considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States. SEC. 2842. LAND CONVEYANCE, PORT OF LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA. (a) CONVEYANCE AUTHORIZED.— The Secretary of the Navy may convey to the City of Long Beach, California, acting by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners (in this section referred to as the "City), all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to up to 11.08 acres of real property, including any improvements thereon, comprising a portion of the Navy Mole at the former Long Beach Naval Complex, Long Beach, California, for the purpose of permitting the City to use the property to support the reuse of other former Navy property conveyed to the City. (b) CONSIDERATION.— (1) Subject to paragraph (2), as consideration for the conveyance under subsection (a), the City shall— (A) convey to the Secretary all right, title, and interest of the City in and to a parcel of real property of equal size on the Mole that is acceptable to the Secretary; and (B) construct on the property conveyed under subparagraph (A) suitable replacement fuel transfer and storage facilities for the Navy, similar or equivalent to the facilities on the property to be conveyed under subsection (a), as determined necessary by the Secretary. (2) If the Secretary determines that replacement fuel transfer and storage facilities are not required by the Navy, the Secretary may make the conveyance under subsection (a) at no cost to the City.
