SALARIES AND EXPENSES, UNITED STATES ATTORNEYS (RESCISSION) Of the amounts made available under this heading in Public Law 107-77, $7,000,000 are rescinded. SALARIES AND EXPENSES, UNITED STATES MARSHALS SERVICE For an additional amount for "Salaries and Expenses" for emergency expenses resulting from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, $37,900,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That the entire amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request, that includes designation of the entire amount of the request as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress. FEDERAL PRISONER DETENTION (RESCISSION) Of the amounts made available under this heading in Public Law 107-77, $30,000,000 are rescinded. ASSETS FORFEITURE FUND (RESCISSION) Of the unobligated balances available under this heading, $5,000,000 are rescinded. FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION SALARIES AND EXPENSES For an additional amount for "Salaries and Expenses" for emergency expenses resulting from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, $175,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2004: Provided, That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That $165,000,000 shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request that includes designation of the $165,000,000 as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress.
