Subtitle A—Extensions of Authorities SEC. 1101. EXTENSION OF ELIGIBILITY TO CONTINUE FEDERAL EMPLOYEE HEALTH BENEFITS.
Section 8905a(d)(4)(B) of title 5, United States Code, is amended— (1) in clause (i), by striking ‘‘October 1, 2006’’ and inserting ‘‘October 1, 2010’’; and (2) in clause (ii)— (A) by striking ‘‘February 1, 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘February 1, 2011’’; and (B) by striking ‘‘October 1, 2006’’ and inserting ‘‘October 1, 2010’’. SEC. 1102. EXTENSION OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE VOLUNTARY REDUCTION IN FORCE AUTHORITY.
Section 3502(f)(5) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking ‘‘September 30, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘September 30, 2010’’.
