Public Law 109–382 109th Congress An Act To designate certain land in New England as wilderness for inclusion in the National Wilderness Preservation system and certain land as a National Recreation Area, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.

(a) SHORT TITLE.—This Act may be cited as the ‘‘New England Wilderness Act of 2006’’. (b) TABLE OF CONTENTS.—The table of contents of this Act is as follows:

In this Act, the term ‘‘Secretary’’ means the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service.
