Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; AMENDMENT.
(a) SHORT TITLE.—This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006’’. (b) AMENDMENT.—The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 1998 (20 U.S.C. 2301 et seq.) is amended to read as follows:
