The referenced statement of managers under the heading ‘‘Community Development Fund’’ in title III of division A of Public Law 109–115 is deemed to be amended with respect to item number 102 by striking ‘‘for preservation of the CA Mining and Mineral Museum’’ and inserting ‘‘for planning, design, and construction of the CA Mining and Mineral Museum’’ in its place. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LOAN GUARANTEES PROGRAM ACCOUNT

For the cost of guaranteed loans, $4,500,000, to remain available until September 30, 2009, as authorized by section 108 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5308): Provided, That such costs, including the cost of modifying such loans, shall be as defined in section 502 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974: Provided further, That these funds are available to subsidize total loan principal, any part of which is to be guaranteed, not to exceed $205,000,000, notwithstanding any aggregate limitation on outstanding obligations guaranteed in section 108(k) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. BROWNFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT

For competitive economic development grants, as authorized by section 108(q) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, for Brownfields redevelopment projects, $10,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2009: Provided, That no funds made available under this heading may be used to establish loan loss reserves for the section 108 Community Development Loan Guarantee program. HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM

(INCLUDING

TRANSFER OF FUNDS)

For the HOME investment partnerships program, as authorized under title II of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, as amended, $1,704,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2010, of which not to exceed $3,465,000 may be transferred to the Working Capital Fund: Provided, That up to $12,500,000 shall be available for technical assistance: Provided further, That of the total amount provided in this paragraph, up to $50,000,000 shall be available for housing counseling under section 106 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968: Provided further, That, from amounts appropriated or otherwise made available under this heading, $10,000,000 may be made available to promote broader participation in homeownership through the American Dream Downpayment Initiative, as such initiative is set forth under section 271 of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 12821). SELF-HELP AND ASSISTED HOMEOWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM
