(A) G round-based M idcourse D efense. (B) Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense. (C) Terminal H igh Altitude Area Defense. (D) F orward-Based X -band radar-Transportable (A N/ TP Y– 2). ( E ) Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications. (F) Sea-Based X-band radar. (G) U pgraded Early W arning radars. SEC.2 2 4 . LIM I TA TI ON ON U SEO F FUN D SFO R RE P LACIN GW AR H EAD ON SM –3B LOC K IIA MISSILE. None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available pursuant to an authori z ation of appropriations in this Act may be obligated or e x pended to replace the unitary warhead on the SM–3 Block IIA missile with the Multiple K ill V ehicle until after the Secretary of Defense certifies to Congress that— ( 1 ) the United States and J apan have reached an agree- ment to replace the unitary warhead on the SM–3 Block IIA missile; and (2) replacing the unitary warhead on the SM–3 Block IIA missile with the Multiple Kill Vehicle will not delay the expected deployment date of 201 4 –201 5 for that missile. SEC. 22 5 .E X TENSION OF COMPTROLLER GENERAL ASSESSMENTS OF BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE PROGRAMS. Section 232(g) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2002 (10 U.S.C. 2431 note) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1), by striking ‘ ‘through 200 8’ ’ and inserting ‘‘through 2013’’; and (2) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘through 200 9 ’’ and inserting ‘‘through 2014’’. SEC. 22 6 . LIMITATION ON A V AILABILIT Y OF FUNDS FOR PROCURE - MENT , CONSTRUCTION, AND DEPLOYMENT OF MISSILE DEFENSES IN EUROPE.
