F or the purpose of section 6(c) of that Act, such towns shall be deemed ‘ ‘villages ’ ’ and the provisions of that section, which prohibit Federal acquisition of lands by condemnation, shall apply to the segments designated by subsection (b). The authority of the Secretary to acquire lands for the purposes of this section shall be limited to acquisition by donation or acquisition with the consent of the owner thereof, and shall be subject to the additional criteria set forth in the Eightmile River Watershed Management Plan. (h) WATE RSH EDA P PR O A C H.— (1) I N GENERA L .—In furtherance of the watershed approach to resource preservation and enhancement articulated in the Eightmile River Watershed Management Plan, the tributaries of the Eightmile River watershed specified in paragraph (2) are recognized as integral to the protection and enhancement of the Eightmile River and its watershed. (2) CO V ERED TR IBU TARIES.—Paragraph (1) applies with respect to B eaver Brook, Big Brook, Burnhams Brook, Cedar Pond Brook, Cranberry Meadow Brook, Early Brook, Falls Brook, Fraser Brook, Harris Brook, Hedge Brook, Lake Hay- ward Brook, Malt House Brook, Muddy Brook, Ransom Brook, Rattlesnake Ledge Brook, Shingle Mill Brook, Strongs Brook, Tisdale Brook, Witch Meadow Brook, and all other perennial streams within the Eightmile River watershed. (i) AUTHORI Z ATION O F APPROPRIATIONS.—There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section and the amendment made by subsection (b). (a) DEFINITIONS.—In this section

(1) CORPORATION.—The term ‘‘Corporation’’ means the Alaska Railroad Corporation owned by the State of Alaska. (2) SECRETAR Y .—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means the Secretary of the Interior. (b) E X CHANGE.— (1) IN GENERAL.— (A) EASEMENT EXPANDED.—The Secretary is authorized to grant to the Alaska Railroad Corporation an e x clusive- use easement on land that is identified by the Secretary within Denali National Park for the purpose of providing a location to the Corporation for construction, maintenance, and on-going operation of track and associated support facilities for turning railroad trains around near Denali Park Station. 16USC 11 32note;45 USC 12 0 3 note . 16 USC 12 7 4 note. 16 USC 1274 note.
