(d) EF F ECTIV E DA TE O FWI LD E RN E S S ACT. — With respect to the F ederal lands designated as wilderness by subsection (a), any reference in the Wilderness Act ( 16U . S . C . 11 3 1etse q .) to the effective date of the Wilderness Act shall be deemed to be a ref- erence to the date of the enactment of this Act. (e) FIS H AND WILDLIFE.—As provided in section 4 (d)( 7 ) of the Wilderness Act (16 U.S.C. 1133(d)(7)), nothing in this section affects the j urisdiction or responsibility of the State of West V irginia with respect to wildlife and fish. SEC.10 0 2 . BOUNDARY AD J US TM ENT ,L AUREL F OR K SOUT HWI LDER - NESS, MONON G AHELA NATIONAL FOREST. (a) B O U NDAR Y AD J UST M ENT.— T he boundary of the L aurel For k South Wilderness designated by section 1(3) of Public Law 9 7 – 466 (96 Stat. 2 53 8 ) is modified to e x clude two parcels of land, as generally depicted on the map entitled ‘ ‘ M onongahela N ational Forest Laurel Fork South Wilderness Boundary Modification ’ ’ and dated March 11, 2 0 08, and more particularly described according to the site-specific maps and legal descriptions on file in the office of the Forest Supervisor, Monongahela National Forest. The general map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the O ffice of the Chief of the Forest Service. (b) MANA G EMENT.—Federally owned land delineated on the maps referred to in subsection (a) as the Laurel Fork South Wilder- ness, as modified by such subsection, shall continue to be adminis- tered by the Secretary of Agriculture in accordance with the Wilder- ness Act (16 U.S.C. 1131 et seq.). SEC. 100 3 . MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST BOUNDARY CONFIRMA- TION. (a) I N G ENERAL.—The boundary of the Monongahela National Forest is confirmed to include the tracts of land as generally depicted on the map entitled ‘‘Monongahela National Forest Boundary Confirmation’’ and dated March 13, 2008, and all Federal lands under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service, encompassed within such boundary shall be managed under the laws and regulations per- taining to the National Forest System. (b) LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND.—For the purposes of section 7 of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460l–9), the boundaries of the Monongahela National Forest, as confirmed by subsection (a), shall be considered to be the boundaries of the Monongahela National Forest as of J anuary 1, 1965. SEC. 100 4 . ENHANCED TRAIL O P PORTUNITIES. (a) PLAN.— (1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of Agriculture, in consulta- tion with interested parties, shall develop a plan to provide for enhanced nonmotori z ed recreation trail opportunities on lands not designated as wilderness within the Monongahela National Forest. (2) NONMOTORI Z ED RECREATION TRAIL DEFINED.—For the purposes of this subsection, the term ‘‘nonmotorized recreation 16USC 11 32note.
