H ISTORIC PRESERVATION FU ND ( INCLUDIN G TRANSFERS AND RESCISSION OF FUNDS ) For expenses necessary in carrying out the H istoric P reserva- tion A ct of 1966, as amended ( 16 U .S. C . 4 7 0 ) , and the O mnibus Parks and Public L ands M anagement Act of 1996 (Public Law 104 – 333), $69,500,000, to be derived from the Historic Preservation Fund and to remain available until September 30, 2010

d, That any individual Save America’s Treasures grant shall be matched by non-Federal funds; individual pro j ects shall only be eligible for one grant; and all projects to be funded shall be approved by the Secretary of the I nterior in consultation with the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations: Provided fu r th er , That Save America’s Treasures funds allocated for Federal projects, fol- lowing approval, shall be available by transfer to appropriate accounts of individual agencies: Provided further, That of the unobli- gated balances in this account, $516,000 are permanently rescinded. CONSTRUCTION (INCLUDING RESCISSION OF FUNDS) For construction, improvements, repair or replacement of phys- ical facilities, including a portion of the expense for the modifica- tions authori z ed by section 104 of the E verglades N ational Park Protection and Expansion Act of 1989, $233,158,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That funds appropriated in this Act, or in any prior Act of Congress, for the implementation of the Modified W ater D eliveries to Everglades National Park Project, shall be made available to the Army Corps of Engineers which shall, notwithstanding any other provision of law, imme- diately and without further delay construct or cause to be con- structed Alternative 3.2.2.a to U.S. Highway 41 (the Tamiami Trail) consistent with the Limited R eevaluation Report with Integrated Environmental Assessment and addendum, approved August 2008: Provided further, That the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the National Park Service, is directed to immediately evaluate the feasibility of additional bridge length, beyond that to be con- structed pursuant to the Modified Water Deliveries to Everglades National Park Project (16 U.S.C. § 410r–8), including a continuous bridge, or additional bridges or some combination thereof, for the Tamiami Trail (U.S. Highway 41) to restore more natural water flow to Everglades National Park and Florida B ay and for the purpose of restoring habitat within the Park and the ecological Study.Bri d ges .
