TITLE VIII—TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS SEC. 801. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE ACT OF 1978. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (50 U.S.C. 1801 et seq.) is amended— (1) in section 101— (A) in subsection (a), by moving paragraph (7) two ems to the right; and (B) by moving subsections (b) through (p) two ems to the right; (2) in section 103, by redesignating subsection (i) as sub- section (h); (3) in section 109(a)— (A) in paragraph (1), by striking ‘‘section 112.;’’ and inserting ‘‘section 112;’’; and (B) in paragraph (2), by striking the second period; (4) in section 301(1), by striking ‘‘ ‘United States’ ’’ and all that follows through ‘‘and ‘State’ ’’ and inserting ‘‘ ‘United States’, ‘person’, ‘weapon of mass destruction’, and ‘State’ ’’; (5) in section 304(b), by striking ‘‘subsection (a)(3)’’ and inserting ‘‘subsection (a)(2)’’; and (6) in section 502(a), by striking ‘‘a annual’’ and inserting ‘‘an annual’’. SEC. 802. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY ACT OF 1949. The Central Intelligence Agency Act of 1949 (50 U.S.C. 403a et seq.) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1) of section 5(a), by striking ‘‘authorized under paragraphs (2) and (3) of section 102(a), subsections (c)(7) and (d) of section 103, subsections (a) and (g) of section 104, and section 303 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 403(a)(2), (3), 403–3(c)(7), (d), 403–4(a), (g), and 405)’’ and inserting ‘‘authorized under section 104A of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 403–4a).’’; and (2) in section 17(d)(3)(B)— (A) in clause (i), by striking ‘‘advise’’ and inserting ‘‘advice’’; and (B) by amending clause (ii) to read as follows: ‘‘(ii) holds or held the position in the Agency, including such a position held on an acting basis, of— ‘‘(I) Deputy Director; ‘‘(II) Associate Deputy Director; ‘‘(III) Director of the National Clandestine Service; ‘‘(IV) Director of Intelligence; ‘‘(V) Director of Support; or ‘‘(VI) Director of Science and Technology.’’. SEC. 803. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 10, UNITED STATES CODE.
