Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the proper accounting G*¢<li¤f<> l>¤ officers in settling and adjusting the accounts of John A. Wilcox, captain :‘£°f§,;°Ac”P' fourth regiment of United States cavalry, are hereby directed to credit Wilcox. ` said Wilcox with the sum of seven hundred and sixty-four dollars and ten cents, being the amount of government funds which were stolen from him, without his default, at or near Fort Clark, Texas, on the fourteenth day of February, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-seven. June 21, 18yo_ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United U _ _ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treas- New bonds to ury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue to Reuben gifjgyczndle Grindle, of Castine, Hancock county, Maine, three new five per centum an lieu or time ' United States bonds, two of one hundred dollars each, and one of fifty l¤S*.i$ &¤· dollars, redeemable after February twenty-eight, eighteen hundred and seventy~four, of the numbers hereinafter specified, so soon as proof shall be exhibited to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the destruction of three bonds of the loan and value above mentioned, numbered twenty- seven thousand five hundred and twenty-five, twenty-seven thousand five hundred and twenty-six, and two thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, and if Reuben Grindle shall give bond with sufficient security to indemnify the United States against any other claim on account of the bonds alleged to be so destroyed. June 31, 1870, Be it enacted by the Senate and House af Representatives of the Mt-ited States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the In- I P¤¤¤i<>¤}__€¤ terior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of my A' m"' Mary A. Filler, fostenmother of Henry Drenning, late a. private in company K, of the fifty-fifth regiment of Pennsylvania volunteers, upon the pension rolls; and to pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, from the fourth day of March, eighteen hundred and seventy.
