Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Inte- P¤¤¤i¤¤ to rior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension Pli‘i:;‘£g]d' roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the 1873, eh. 484. name of Phebe Sofield, the widow of Lewis Sofield, a soldier in the war P08b P- 784-] of the Revolution, and to pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars a month, from the fifth day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, when she became one hundred years of age.
