Be it enacted by the Senate. and House. of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treas- _ Peymevt to Willury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to William J`. “"“ J· M°I““$'”°· McIntyre, late a lieutenant in the eleventh Hlinois Infantry volunteers, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred and ninety-nine dollars and twenty cents, the same being the difference between the pay of a second lieutenant of infantry and a hospital steward, irom the seventh day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, to the thirtieth day of October, eighteen hundred and sixtyfour. Approved, June 20, 1874. CHAP. 351.-—-An not for the relief of Kerry Sullivan, of Company G, fourteenth June 20, 1814, regiment New Hampshire volunteers. L"""‘_—T Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treas- S I§’Z·Y"·‘°"* W Km? ury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any H wm money appropriated, or hereafter to be appropriated, fdr the payment of the Army, to Kerry Sullivan, late private in company G, of the fourteenth regiment of New Hampshire volunteers, commissioned a second lieutenant in said regiment of New Hampshire volunteers, the pay and emoluments of a second lieutenant of infantry, from the fifth day of May, eighteen hundred and sixtyfnve, to the eighth day of July, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, the date of his discharge, as if said Kerry Sullivan had been mustered as a second lieutenant on the fifth day of May, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, iirst deducting whatever sum may have been paid said Kerry Sullivan as a private soldier during the period for which he is hereby allowed pay and emoluments as a second lieutenant of infantry.
