App°,mm,;¤t_ sent of the Senate, a district judge for the western district of Tennessee, who shall, from and after the time of his appointment, hold the terms of the United States district court in said district at the times and places required by law. Salary. Sec. 2. Said district judge shall be paid the same salary and in the same manner as the judge of the middle and eastern districts of Tennes- Powers. see, and shall exercise all the circuit and district court power and jurisdiction now conferred on said judge and said court. Present jndgs, Sec. 3. The present district judge of said State shall be and remain ¤ssis¤¤¤¤¤¤ vf- the district judge of the United States for the middle and eastern districts thereof, as if originally appointed thereto. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Polaris Expedi- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Public Printer be, and '·*°¤· _ _ he is hereby authorized to print from the stereotype plates now in his N"' °d'°‘°"‘ possession, such number of copies of the Narrative of the Polaris Expedition as may be subscribed and paid for within such reasonable time as the Public Printer may designate: Provided, That the whole number P*i<=¤· printed shall be sold at the cost of publication with ten per centum N¤¤¤l>¤¤‘· additional; and no greater number shall be printed than shall have been subscribed and paid for prior to going to press thereon; and M¤¤¢¥i==¤l¤· authority is hereby given t-he Public Printer to procure the material, engravings, and lithographs necessary for the publication of the work; Proceeds- and it shall be the duty of the Public Printer to cover all moneys received for copies of the work into the Treasury, making a report thereof in his next annual report.
