For contingent expenses of the office of the Secretary of War, such as blank-books, stationery, labor, books, maps, gas, and miscellaneous items, two thousand dollars. For contingent expenses of the Uiiice of the Adjutant General of the Army, such as fuel and gas, ice, office furniture, painting, glazing, and plumbing, and repairs for building numberedseventeen and twenty-five F street northwest, five hundred dollars.
