Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United · States of America in Congress assembled, That upon payment of the princi- M¤¤jAp¤=¤ Egan. pal of the amount of special-improvement taxes levied or assessed in the a§f“"“°;‘°” °fP°“· year eighteen hundred and seventy-five, and now outstanding upon the ,,,g°?,:,:é;;;,P°§} books of the Commissioners of the District of Columbia, on account of or special improveagainst parts of lots numbered ten and eleven, in square numbered live 5¤¤¤t t¤x¤s.Washhundred and fifty-seven, fronting on New Jersey avenue, in the city of "‘g*°“· Washington, District of Columbia, and. charged either to Mary Anna Egan or James Egan, her late husband, all interest accumulated thereon, and penalities of every kind and nature whatsoever for the nonpayment thereof, be, and the same are hereby, remitted and canceled. _ Sec. 2.
