United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of P"““‘°“"‘°“’°“°°‘ the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph irth, late quartermaster-sergeant in Company L, Third New Jersey Cavalry, and pay him at the rate of thirty dollars per month, from and after the passage of this act, in lieu of the pension now received by him. Travis, formerly of Company_D, First Regiment United States Infantry, in the war with the Florida _ Indians, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, August 6, 1888.
