Hansell, of Washmgton, District of Columbia, the sum of three hundred and seventy-three dollars, or so much thereof as he may find to be required to pay the necessary and actual traveling expenses incurred by him in traveling from Sitka, Alaska, to ashmgton, District of Columbia, after his discharge from the United States Revenue Marine Service, in eighteen hundred and seventy; and that the said sum of three hundred and seventy-three do rs, or so much thereof as shall be necessary, be appropriated for the purposes of this act. C. Nindemann, former y a seaman in the Navy of the United States, serving on board the Arctic exploring Steamer Jeannette, and to pay to him, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the difference between the pay of a seaman and the pay of a carplenter in the Navy from the twenty-ninth day of June, eighteen undred and seventy-nine, to the iirst day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-three.
