Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the gggsiygj M°Wm¤·¤· United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary ` of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lucinda Mewman, of Payson, Illinois, sister of John W. Mewman, late private in Company K, Seventy-eighth Regiment Illinois Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars a month. . Approved, March 2, 1889. ` Mm-cb 2, 1Ss9.
