Adhesion or the And whereas the President of the United States of America, by Umed Sm"` and with the advice and consent of the Senate thereof, did on the 29th day of March, 1887, declare that the United States adhere to the said Convention and Final Protocol of the 20th of March, 1883; And whereas the Minister Resident and Consul-General of the United States at Berne did, in virtue of Article II. of the Regulation for the execution of the Convention of March 20, 1883, by note of May 30, 1887, to the Swiss Federal Council, designate the said thirtieth day of May 1887, as the date of accession of the United States of America to the Union for the Protection of Industrial Property; P¤>¤l¤¤¤¤¤¤- Now, therefore, be it known that I, Grover Cleveland, President of the United States of America, have caused the said Convention and Final Protocol of March 20, 1883, to be made public, to the end that the same and every article and clause thereof may be observed and fulfilled with good faith by the United States an the citizens ereo .
