""'1“`—'— Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representattves of the United States of America. in Congress assembled, That_an act to Cggiseagcrgnghggjli authorize the construction of a bridge across Trail Creek, in the city im. of Michigan City, Indiana, approved June twenty-ninth, eighteen mgjd0d_”- P- m- hundred and eighty-eight, be ereby amended by subst1tuting for section two of the aforesaid act the following: " Sec. 2. That if the construction of the bridge hereby authorized c°‘}.‘};'j‘,{,“,gi§',f“ shall not be commenced within two years from the time this act takes effect and be completed within four years after its commencement, then this act shall be void, and all rights hereby conferred shall cease and determine." _ _ Sec. 2.
