Green, as duly mustered into the service of the United States on the twentieth day of December, anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty-three, and to complete his military record as follows: Captured &the enemy, while in the line of duty, at Union City, Tennessee, arch twenty-fourth, anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty-four; died at ndersonville, Georgia, on the twelfth day of August, anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty- four, while being detained by the enemy as a prisoner of war.
