Monroe, in Ouachita Parish, on the Ouachita River; said bridge shall be constructed to provide for the assage of railway trains and, Rallway,wagon,and at the option of the corporation by wgiich it is built, ma be used ‘°°" ""“’g°· for the passage of wagons and vehicles of all kinds, for tile transit of animals, for foot-passengers, for reasonable rates of toll to be ’1‘¤l1. iixed by said company and a proved by the Secretary of War. Sec. 3. That the bridges authorized to be constructed under this msscvriw ¤f mviznact shall be built and located under and subject to such regulationsfor the security of navigation of said river as the Secretary of War .shall prescribe; and to secure that object the said company or corporation shall submit to the Secretary of War, for his examination sooroogmiwmo and approval, designs and drawings of the said bridges, and a map "*‘*“'°"° °*°· of the Focation of each, Qving the topography of the banks of the river, the shore—lines at i h and low water, and the direction and strength of the current at different stages, the location of any other bridge or bridges, within one mile thereof, and such further information as may be required for a satisfactory understanding of the subject; and said bridges shall not beconstructed until the p an and location is approved by the Secretary of War.
