Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Shawnee items. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Shawnee tribe or band _gEfn§§°§“,§,,“Q1 gx of Indians, whose claims and demands against the Cherokee N ation and and Chcrokws- the United States were referred to the United States Court of Claims WL “"· P- °°‘- for adjudication under the act of Congress passed and approved October iirst, eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled “An act to reier to the Court of Claims certain claims of the Shawnee and Delaware Indians and the freedmen of the Cherokee Nation, and for other purposcs,” shall present to the said court all their claims against the United States and the Cherokee Nation, or against either or both of them, of every description whatsoever, arising out of treaty relations with the United States, rights growing out of such treaties, and from contracts, expressed or implied, under such treaties, made and entered into by and between the said Shawnees and Cherokees, and between them, or either of them and the United States. P. Patterson and recorded in book B. W. page one hundred and two, in the office of the surveyor of the said District, be, and the same is hereby, confirmed so far as the said subdivision embraced any part of the original alleys in said square, and the title of the persons claiming any part or parts of said original alleys under the owner of the original lots in said square at the time said subdivision was made, 1-mea. is hereby confirmed: Provided, That the area dedicated to the public in New nity., the subdivision made by said Patterson is at least as great as that of the alleys in the said original division of said square into lots.
