shall be given: _ · “F1rst. By ‘steam vessels’ on the whistle or siren. Sreem vessels. " Second. (In all cases where the rules require a bell to be used a drum may _ be substituted on board Turkish vessels, or a gong where such articles ,jl‘Qjf,‘;Qjf,QPE'§;;{§‘ are used on board small seagoing vessels.)
