De Freest any pay or allowance for any period of time he was absent without leave, and not in the performance of military duty, or to such time as he would have been discharged by limitation of time of enlistment or otherwise. May ,3_ ,896 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the proper accounting ggmlggaajsofficers of the Government be, and hereby are, directed to liquidate ym ' and settle the claim of Enoch Davis, late a member of Company G of the Sixth Regiment of Iowa Volunteer Infantry, for pay and bounty; and the sum of three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of the amount that may be awarded to him on account of said claim.
