Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United 0¤r¤1i¤¤!¤·P¤rd¤¤¤- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P°"°i°°“‘°'°"°’°‘ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension 1*0ll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Caroline E. Purdum, widow of Elijah F. Purdum, late private in Company F, Thirtieth Regiment, and assistant surgeon Eighty-ninth Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and to pay her_ a pension of twelve dollars per month in lieu of the pension she IS now receiving. Approved, June 6, 1896. ` ·T¤¤¤ 6, 1896- CHAP. 349.-An Act To increase the pension of Peter Rafferty. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Peter Reims. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P°“'i°" i"°""°°‘ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of Peter Raferty, late private in Company B, Sixty-ninth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, on the pen sion roll and to pay him forty-five dollars per month in lieu of the pension now paid him.
