Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United §:;_}SJnP¤**°¤· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ' Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, at the rate of twenty dollars per month, the name of Rachel Patton, of Paris, Edgar County, Illinois, formerly the widow of John H. Patton, late captain of Company C, Seventy-ninth Regiment Illinois Volunteers. IN THE Honsn or REPRESENTATIVES, February 9, 1897.
