PROCLAMATIONS. Nos. 4, 5. 1955 lying and being situate in the State of California and particularly described as fol ows, to wit: - ' Beginning at a point where the north-western boundary of the rancho B°“¤d°’i°S- Santa Ana intersects the township line between Townships four (4) and Bve ga) North, Range twenty-three (23) West, San Bernardino Base and eridian, California; thence westerly along the township line to the south-west corner of Township Bve (5) North, Range twenty-four (24) .West; thence northerly along the range line to the south—east corner of the rancho Los Prietos y Najalayegua; thence in a general north-westerly direction along the southern boundaries of the ranchos Los Prietos Najalayeglua, San Marcos, Tequepis, Lomas de la PuriB- cacion and Niojoqui to the eastern boundary of the rancho Las Cruces; thence in a general southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said rancho Las Cruces to the northern boundar of the rancho N uestra Senora del Refugio; thence in a general south-easterly directionialong the northern boundaries of the ranchos N uestra Senora del Refugio, Canada del Corral, Los Dos Pueblos, La Goleta, Pueblo and Mission Lands of Santa Barbara and the rancho El Rincon (Arellanes) to its most eastern point; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern boundary of said rancho to the point where it intersects the township line between. Townships three (3) and four (4) North, Range twenty-Bve (25) West; thence easterly along the township line to the western boundary of the rancho Santa Ana; thence north-easterly along the western boundary of said rancho to its intersection with the township line between Townships four (4) and Bve (5) North, Range twenty-three (23) West, the place of beginning. Exceptin from the force and effect of this Proclamation all lands Prier valid entries which may liave been, prior to the date hereof, embraced in any legal €xc°pm` entry or covered by any lawful Bling duly of record in the pro er United States Land ()Bice, or uplon which any valid settlement has been made pursuant to law, and the statutory period within which to make entry or Bling of record has not expired: Provided, that this Prwisq. _ exception shall not continue to apply to any particular tract of land qu“hH°‘m°“‘ unless the entryman, settler or claimant continues to comply with the law under which the entry, Bling or settlement was made.
