[Public, Nc. 22.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House ofRq9resentatv}ves of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be, B Ug;Q,;t§:!f;i°¤¢*¤ and the same are hereby, applrslpriated, out of any money in the Treas- pp ' ury not otherwise appropna , to supply deficiencies in the a propriations for the fisca year nineteen hun red and four, and dir prior years, and for other objects hereinafter stated, namely: _ EXECUTIVE OFFICE. 1¤¤·¤=¤¤v¤ <>¤i¤<=- For contingent expenses of the Executive Office, including stationery °°“"““°“‘°‘P°““°* therefor, as well as record books, telegrams, telephones, books for library, miscellaneous items, and furnitnre and carpets for offices, care of office carriages, horses, and harness, for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and three, nine hundred and fifty-one dollars and ninety-six cents. DEPARTMENT OF STATE. “““’ ”°¥’“"“‘°“'·· To enable the Secretary of State to mark the boundary, and make ehfggn bj‘;gf°'Y· the surveys incidental thereto, between the Territory of Alaska and the'p` Dominion of Canada in conformity with the award of the Alaskan Boundary Tribunal and existin treaties, one hundred thousand dollars, to geénain available until the case of the fiscal year nineteen hundred an ve. ‘ For additional amount to enable the President to coo rate throu h §::"!'****g” °“ *¤· diplomatic channels with the Governments of Mexico?} China, Japadn, w mm mm"` and other countries, for the purpose set forth in the message of the President and accompanying notes submitted to Congress January _ twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and three, and printed as Senate Document Numbered One hundred and nineteen, second session Fifty- seventh Congress, twenty-five thousand dollars; and the commission appointed for this purpose shall terminate November first, nineteen hundred and four. ` For contingent expenses, namely: For care and subsistence of °°“““*°“‘°‘l’°‘“°'· horses, to be used only for official purposes, and repairs of wagons, carriage, and harness, rent of stable, telegraphic and e ectric apfparatus and repairs to the same, and miscellaneous items not include in the foregoing, two thousand dollars. For the purchase of two horses for the official use of the Department *""°l‘°“° °‘ "°”°°- of State, five hundred dollars. For balance due Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company for T°*°P*‘°“° ”°"*°°~ exchange service for the quarter endin June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and two, thirty-three dollars and shirty-nine cents.
