Be it enacted by the Senate and House qf}? esentatives of the United [mma, N0. im.] States of America in Congress assembled, mt the Secretary of the mmm M Sm.,h_ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ramen.I pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension ws, the name of William M. Smith, late of Company 1, First Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month and such higher rate of pension as he may hereafter show himself to be entitled to, the same to be paid to him N¤d¤d¤<=¤=i¤¤.¤w· under the rules of the Pension Bureau as to mode and times of pay- ment without any deduction or rebate on account of former alleged
