V E¤r¤=¤¤¤¤· That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized to pay out of the funds of the said Menominee tribe of Indians now on deplosit in the United States Treasury all necessary ex uses incurred in the cut~ ting and sawing of the timber, as providedw herein, which amount of mgney shall be reimbursed from the sale of the lumber as herein provided. " - ¤¤~¤<¤ 1¤¤¤¤>¤r· That said lumber shall be sold in such quantities as the Secretary of the Interior may direct, under such rules and regulations as he may prescribe, to the highest and best bidder for cash after due advertisement inviting proposals and in such manner and at such time and place rmms as the Secretarv may direct, and from the proceeds of the sales of such lumber there shall be de sited in the Treasury of the United States to the credit of the said)0Menominee tribe of Indians the amount of money paid ont of said fund as the expense of cutting, sawing, piling, and grading said lumber; and there shall also be deposited in the Treasury of the United States to the credit ofsaid Indians the one-lifth , part of the net roceeds of the sales of said lumber, to be used under the direction of) the Secretary of the Interior for the benefit of said ntmesa.
