Be it enacted by the Senate and House of R ecmtahbes of the United 1 States of America in Congress assembled, aeliat the Commissioner of sregmm gmane-- Navigation is hereby authorized and directed to cause the foreign-built °°§1m¤S$.°§"'m,m,, steamers Marie and Success, wrecked in the waters of Cuba and the g"““‘°'*· Isthmus of Panama, respectively, and purchased and wholly owned by the Merritt and Chapman Derrick and Wrecking Com any, of New York City, incorporated under the laws of the State of West Virginia, to-be registered as vessels of the United States whenever it; shall be shown to the Commissioner of Navigation that the repairs on each of the said vessels amount to three-times the actual cost of each of the said wrecks to the owner.
