Be it enacted by the Senate and H0u.seé2fRep¢•esentah}uea of the United States of America in Oongresa assemble , That within ninety days after '§ff,§e*gQu‘;g*“;P,§gg£ the passage of this Act the Commissioners of the District of Columbia ¤¤r¤¤we¤=._ be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to institute in the ;.,$‘{,'§‘i§E{§}{'§ und supreme court of the District of Columbia, sitting as a district court, V°*·“• 1*-151- under and in accordance with the provisions of subchapter one of chapter fifteen of the Code of Law for the District of Columbia, a proceeding in rem to condemn the land that may be necessary for the extension of Rittenhouse street on a straight extension of the lines thereof, as now established on the highway extension lan in the District of Columbia, from its present terminus at Broad Tranch road eastwardly to the Daniel road, with a uniform width of ninety feet: Provided, That the total amount found to be due and awarded as m- cs B tc damages, plus the cost and expenses of the proceedings, shall be assessed aimhsns.
