1>nocLAMAT1oNs, 1910. - . 2763 BY THE PRESIDENT or THE Unrrsn STATES or Amrmca D°°°”*‘*°"°·"”°- A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS certain lands in the State of Nevada were transferred F'*`°*{¤*,g,*; N¤¤¤¤¤* from the Mono National Forest to the Toiyabe National Forest by °ii$§¤t1;` an Executive Order dated November twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and ten; and _WHEREAS it appears that the public good will be promoted by eliminating certain lands from the oiyabe National Forest, and by addi§ to said National Forest certain lands within the State of Nev a which are in art covered with timber; Now, therefore, I, William H. Taft, President of the United States {*,g{*¤3¢‘}”*¤;6_m¤¤*¤¤d· of America, by virtue of the power in me vested by the Act of Con- JL gress approved June fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, entitle "An Act Making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the fiscal {year ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eigrlit, and or other purposes," do proclaim that the boundaries of the oiyabe National Forest are hereby changed End ghat they are now as shown on the diagram forming a part . ereo . The withdrawal made biy this proclamation shall, as to all lands Mgr ¤s¤*¤ ¤¤¢ M- which are at this date le§al y appropriated under the public land laws or reserved for any pub c plurpose, be subject to andp shall not interfere with or defeat legal rig ts under such appropriation, nor prevent the use forsuch public purpose of lands so reserved, so long as such pppropriation is legally mamtamed or such reservation remains in orce. This reclamation shall not prevent the settlement and entry of $g‘gj"Ij*’**z}3'¤¤°=· any lands heretofore opened to settlement and entry under the Act of ’ ' Congress a proved June eleventh, nineteen hundred and six, entitled "An Act 'llh provide for the entry of Agricultural lands within forest reserves." The lands hereby eliminated from the Toiyabe National Forest uY;jmg°m*:,¤rj¤¤d is which are not embraced in withdrawals for a ministrative sites for P ~ ` use in the management of the Forest, or in any other reservation or appropriation, s all be restored to the. public domain and become sulligect to settlement under the general provisions of the homestead laws on such date and after such notice by publication as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe, but shall not become subgect to entry, filing, selection, or other form of appropriation until t ie expiration of thirty days from the date so Hxe , an no person will be rmitted to acquire or exercise any right whatever under any settiizement or occupancy begun prior to such date, and all such settlement or occu ation is hereb forbidden.
