Be it enacted the Senate and House 0 Representatives 0 the United . a _ States ¢Ig{Americbd/in Congress assembled, lghat the provisiofé of the act m§S`1g°m P lksf C?] of the egislatura of the State of California (approved April 15, 1919) , u§,°i§‘°§a§' 0{,‘§§'S§‘,,§ ceding po the United States exclusive jurisdiction over the territory *%¤=**°d»¤°°°P*°d- embraced and included within the Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, and General Grant National Park, respectively, are hereby accepted and sole and exclusive jurisdiction is hereby assumed Rights reserved to by the United States over such territory, saving, however, to the said State. State of California the rifht to serve civil or criminal process within the limits of the aforesai parks 01- either of them in smts 01- prosecutions for or on account of rights acquired, obligations incurred, or crimes committed in said State outside of said parks; and saving further to the said State the right to tax crsons and corporations, their franchises and property on the landg included in said parks, and the right to Hx and collect license fees for fishing in said parks; and saving also to the persons residing in any of said arks now 01- hereafter the right to vote at all elections held within &c county or counties in whigh said parks are situated.
