BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION Expenses of regulating immigration : For enforcement of the laws regulating immigration of aliens into the United States, including the same objects specified under this head in the Act making appro- priations for the Department of Labor for the fiscal year 1929, $121,990 ; and any limitation contained in the appropriation "Expenses of Regulating Immigration, 1929," heretofore made, is hereby waived to the extent required to meet the increases in com- pensation granted immigrant inspectors under the provisions of the Act approved May 29, 1928 (45 Stat . p . 954) . The allotment for the coast and land-border patrol, fixed by the Act making appropriations for the Department of Labor for the fiscal year 1930, is hereby reduced from $1,918,440 to $1,868,440 .
