For personal services in accordance with the Classification Act of 1923, $17,170 ; temporary labor, $7,000 ; in all, $24,170 . Expenses of camps, For ex penses of cam ps, inc luding hire o f horse s for o fficer s requi red arms ' etc' to be mounted, and for the payment of commutation of subsistence for enlisted men who may be detailed to guard or move the United States property at home stations on days immediately preceding and immediately following the annual encampments, damages to private propert y incident to encampment, i nstruction, p urchase, and m ain- tenance of athletic, gymnastic, and recreational equipment at armory or field encampments, not to exceed $500 ; practice marches, drills, and parades ; rent of armories, drill halls, and storehouses ; fuel, light, heat, care and repair of armories, offices, and storehouses, machinery and dock, dredging alongside of dock, construction of buildings for storage and other purposes at target range, telephone service, horses, and mu les for mount ed organizati ons, maintenan ce and operation of passenger and nonpassenger motor vehicles, street car fares (not to exceed $200) necessarily used in the transaction of official business, not exceeding $400 for traveling expenses, including attendance at meetings or conventions of associations pertaining to the National Guard, and for general incidental expenses of the service, $12,780 . Printing, etc.

For printing, stationery, and postage, $750 . Contingent expenses . For cleaning and repairing uniforms, arms, and equipments, and con ting ent expe nses , $1 ,200 . Target practice For expenses o f target prac tice matches, including mat ches held matches,

outside of the District of Columbia and travel incident thereto, $2,500 . Pay of troops.
