For the paym ent of judgme nts, includin g costs of sui ts, rendered against the Government of the United States by United States district courts under the provisions of an Act entitled "An us43 pp lists . Act authorizing suits against the United States in admiralty for dam- ages caused by and salvage services rendered to public vessels belong- ing to the U nited States, and for othe r purposes," a pproved March 3, 1925 (U . S . C ., title 46, sees . 781-789), certified to the Seventy-first Congress in House Document Numbered 76 3, under the following departments, namely : Treasury Department, $1,786 .36 ; War Depart- ment, $1,478.58 ; in all, $3,264 .94, together with such addition al sum as may be necessary to pay interest as and where specified in such judgments . csedg ment s,in speci al For the payment of the judgments, including costs of suits, ren- dered against the Government by United States district courts in special cases and under the provisions of certain special Acts and certified to the Seventy-first Congress in Senate Document Num- bered 285, under the Treasury Department, $19,906. 2 3 . Time of payments. None of the judgments contained under this caption shall be paid . until the right of appeal shall have expired except such as have become final and conclusive against the United States by failure of the parties to appeal or otherwise .
