Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the C T ime nmbia extended River. for United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the time for bridging, between Long- completing the construction of the bridge across the Columbia River fe e ores.

Comer and Wesley Vandercook by Act of Congress approved January 28, 1927, which time was extended to June 1, 1930, by Act of Congress approved December 26, 1929, is hereby further extended to June 1, 1932 . R . 2021 .] 1053, CHAP. 757 .-An Act To aut hori ze the est abli shm ent of boun dar y li nes for (Public, No. 477.] the March Field Military Reservation, California . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the owners of the land adjoining the military reservation of March Field, California, to determine a location for the boundary lines of that reservation, and to accept from such owners a quit-claim deed to all lands within the boundaries determined upon : Provided, That upon the delivery and acceptance by the Secretary of War of a quit- claim deed to the lands within such boundaries the Secretary of War may give to such owners a quit-claim deed on behalf of the United States to all lands within the east half of section 23, township 3 south, range 4 west, San Bernardino base and meridian, lying outside of the boundaries determined upon, with the exception of the railroad right of way of the United States : Provided further, That the Sec- retary of War is hereby authorized to accept on the approval of the At torne y Ge neral from the Secu rity Titl e Ins uranc e an d Gua rante e Company, of Riverside, California, a title policy guaranteeing the fee sim ple titl e to the lands em braced i n the Ma rch Field Militar y Res- ervation as so determined upon, and upon the acceptance by him of suc h policy to surre nder a f ormer ti tle poli cy of the Pioneer Title Insurance Company, of San Bernardino, California, guaranteeing the title of the United States . C contracts shall be advertised for a reasonable time in some news- paper of general circulation published in the State in which the bridge is located and in the vicinity thereof; sealed bids shall be required, and the contracts shall be awarded to the lowest respon- sible bidder . Verified copies or abstracts of all bids received and of the bid or bids accepted shall be promptly furnished to the high- way department of the State in which such bridge is located . A failure to comply in good faith with the provisions of this section shall render null and void any contract made in violation thereof, and the Secretary of War may, after hearings, order the suspension of all work upon such bridge until th e provisions of this section shall have been fully complied with . SEC. 7. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Appr oved, June 30, 1930
