Die naheren Bestimmungen tiber die Art der Behandiung der Ersatzanspruche beztiglich der N achnahmepakete und die anderen naheren Bestimmungen beztiglich der Ausfiihrung dieses Uebereinkommens werden im Wege des Schriftenwechsels zwischen den beiden Verwaitun- gen festgesetzt. Artikel XVII. Soweit die Artikel des gegen- wartigen Uebereinkommens keine Bestimmungen trefi'en, haben bezuglich aller Fragen des Aus- tauBches der N achnahmepakete die Bestimmungen des Postan- weisungs- und des Pakettiber- einkommens zwischen den beiden Verwaitungen, oder die Bestim- mungen des Weltpostvertrages und seiner Ausftihrun88vor- schrift zu gel ten, insowelt sie anwendbar und mit den Bestim- mungen dieses Uebereinkom- mens nicht unvereinbar sind; des weiteren gelten dann je nach dem Faile die inlandischen Oesetze und Vorschriften der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika oder jene Oesterreichs oder die Frage solI im Wege des Schriften- wechseis zwischen den beiden Verwaltungen vereinigt werden. Artikel XVIII. Jede der beiden Verwaltungen kann, wenn besondere Orlinde hiefUr vorliegen, den N achnah- medienst fUr eine Zeit ganz oder teilweise einstellen oder ihn auf bestimmte Aemter beschranken, eine solche Massnahme muss je- doch der anderen Verwaitung vorher auf die schnellstmogliche Art bekanntgegeben werden.
