When the incom e of an estate under guardiansh ip is insufficie nt to maintain the ward and his family or to maintain and educate the ward when a mi nor, or to pay for his care, tr eatment, and sup port, if confined in a hospital for the insane in the Canal Zone , his guardian may sell his real or personal estate, or mortgage the real esta te for that pur pose sub ject to con firm atio n of suc h s ale or m ort- gage by the court . pA pUcation of pr o- SEC. 99 8.
