PROCLAMATIONS, 1931. 2481 AMENDING REGULATIONS ON MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA September 12, 1931. A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS the Secretary of Agriculture, by virtue of the authority ~=~n of mlgra· vested in him by section 3 of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (U. S. ~b~l. In Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York (except Long t1o~~Phical limit&- Island), Pennsylvania, West Virginia,Michigan, Wisconsin, Mmnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah the open season shall be from October 1 to October 31; In Ohio and Indiana the open season shall be from October 16 to November 15; In Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and illinois the open season shall be from November 1 to November 30; In Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma the open season shall be from October 20 to November 19; In that portion of New York known as Long Island, and in New Jersey, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington the open season shall be from November 16 to December 15; In Florida the open season shall be from November 20 to December 19; and In Alaska the open season shall be from September 1 to September 30. . N ow, THEREFORE, I, HERBERT HOOVER, President of the United Regulat1t'upproved. States of America, do hereby approve and proclaim the foregoing amendatory regulation.
