Bourne United State8 of America in Oongre88 aBsemJJled, That the Comp- C~~J~t of claim, troller General of the United States is hereby authorized and directed authorized. to adjust and settle the claim of Joseph E. Bourrie Company for refund of $1 7°55.70, included in the amount of a certified check submitted by It as a guarantee with bids on two items of construction work at Camp Grayling, Michigan, the total amount of which was collected and paid into the Treasury, although $1,055.70 included in such check was for a guarantee on a bid which was rejected, Appropriation. and to allow not to exceed $1,055.70 in full and final settlement of any and all claims arising out of the transaction. There is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise . approprIated the sum of $1,055.70, or as much thereof as mal be rr:;::ilon on attor- necessary, for payment of said claim: Provided, That no part 0 the DeY's , etc., fees. amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said clr..im.
