Decatur, Tennessee, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navi- gable waters ", approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act . (b) If tolls are charged for the use of such bridge, the rates of toll shall be so adjust ed as to provide a fund suf ficient to pay the reason- able c ost of ma intaining , repair ing, and operatin g the bri dge and its appro aches unde r econ omica l man ageme nt, a nd to provi de a sinking fund sufficient to amortize the cost of the bridge and its approaches, including reasonable interest and financing cost, as soon as possible under reasonable charges, but within a period of not to exceed thirty years from the completion thereof . After a sinking fund sufficient for such amortization shall have been so provided, such bridge shall thereafter be maintained and operated free of tolls, or the rates of toll shall thereafter be so adjusted as to provide a fund of not t o exceed the amou nt neces sary for the prope r mainte - nance, repair, and operation of the bridge and its approaches under economical management . An accurate record of the costs of the bridge and its approaches, the expenditures for maintaining, repair- ing, and operating the same, and of the daily tolls collected, shall be k ept and s hall be available for the informat ion of al l person s interested . MI SSOURI RI VER AT ARR OW ROCK, M ISSO URI SEC . 14. (a) That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to J . L . Jones, Tyre W . Burton, and H . R . Turley, trustees for Howard County, Missouri, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Missouri River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Arrow Rock, Missouri, in a ccord ance with the prov ision s of the Act entit led " An A ct to reg ulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters ", approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act . toTperation, s~ g (b) If tolls are charged for the use of such bridge, the rates of fund, etc. toll shall be so adjusted as to provide a fund sufficient to pay the reasonable cost of maintaining, repairing, and operating the bridge and its approaches under economical management, and to provide a sinking fund sufficient to amortize the cost of the bridge and its approaches, including reasonable interest and financing cost, as soon as possible, under reasonable charges, but within a period of not to exceed twenty years from the completion thereof . After a sinking fund sufficient for such amortization shall have been so p rovided, such brid ge shall thereaft er be mai ntained and opera ted free of tolls, or the rates of toll shall thereafter be so adjusted as to provide a fund of not to exceed the amount necessary for the proper maintenance, repair, and operation of the bridge and its approaches under economical management . An accurate record of the costs of the bridge and its approaches, the expenditures for maintaining, re- pairing, and operating the same, and of the daily tolls collected shall be kept and shall be available for the information of all persons interested . That the times for commencing and completing the con- struction of a bridge across the Columbia River, at Astoria, Clatsop County, Oregon, authorized to be built by the Oregon-Washington Bridge Board of Trustees by an Act of Congress approved June 13, 1934, ar e hereby extended one and three ye ars, resp ectively, from June 13, 1935 .
