Each person so appointed sh all, moreover, for the time being, be subject to all the liabilities and penalties prescribed by law for the official misconduct in like cases of the Treasurer ." AN ACT

[S .3395.] To authorize the acquisition of the railroad tracks, trestle, and right-of-way of the Gulf Power Comp any at the naval air stat ion, Pensacola, Florida . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Navy is hereb y authorized to accept on behalf of the United States, free from encumbrance and without cost to the United States, all the right, title, and interest of the Gulf Power Company of Pensacola, Florida, in its railroad tracks located upon the United States Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida ; its railroad trestle, in cludi ng ra ilroa d tra cks t hereo n, ac ross Bayou Gran de, b eginn ing at the northern end of said trestle and extending across said Bayou Grande to the said naval air station ; and its right-of-way forty feet wide upon which the northern end of said trestle is located, and extendi ng from said northern end of the trestle to the north shore of said Bayou Grande, together with all sidings, equipment, and a ppurt enant stru cture s . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States of Ame rica in Congress assembled, That the provision of section 2324 of the Revised Statutes of the United States, which requires on each mining claim located, and until a patent has been issue d the refor , not less than $100 wort h of labor to b e per forme d or im prove ments aggr egati ng su ch am ount to be made each year , be, and the same is hereby, suspended as to all mining claims in the United States during the year beginning at 12 o'clock meridian Ju ly 1, 1935, and ending at 12 o'clock meridian July 1, 193 6 : Pr o vi de d, That the provisions of this Act shall not apply in the case of any claimant not entitled to exemption from the payment of a Federal income tax for the taxable year 1935 : Pr ovide d fur ther, Tha t every claimant of any such mining claim, in order to obtain the benefits of this Act, shall file, or cause to be filed, in the office where the location notice or certificate is recorde d, on or before 12 o'clock meridian July 1, 1936, a notice of his desire to hold said mining claim under this Act, which notice shall state that the claimant, or Public lands .
