Gr ant ing the co nse nt of Congress to the State Highway Commission of Missouri [Public, No . 541.] to con struct, maintain, a nd operate a free h ighway bridge acros s the Current River at or near Powder Mill Fo rd on Route Numbered Missouri 10 6, Shannon County, Missouri . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Current River .

United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the consent Miss ouri mare bridge, at Powder Mill Ford. of Congress is hereby granted to the State Highway Commission of Miss ouri to constru ct, mai ntain, and oper ate a f ree high way bri dge and approaches thereto across the Current River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Powder Mill Ford on Route Numbered Missouri 106, in Shannon County, Missouri, in Con st trr ucc tio on4

accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regu- u.S. C.,p.1474. late the construction of bridges over navigable waters", approved Ma rch 23, 1906, a nd subj ect to t he cond itions a nd limi tations con- tained in this Act . Amendment .

Authorizing the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission of the State of [Public, No . 542.]

Pennsy lvania and the Stat e of New Jersey to construct, maintain, and operate a to ll bri dge acr oss the Delaware Ri ver at a point near Del awa re Water Gap . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the De lawa re River.

United States o f America in Congress assembled, That in order to Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commis- pr omote i nterstat e comme rce, imp rove th e postal servic e, and p ro- Delaw are bridge, near vide for military and other purposes, the Delaware River Joint Toll Delaware Water Gap . Bridge Commission of the State of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey be, and is hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and op erate a bridge and app roaches thereto across the Del aware Ri ver, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation at or near Delaware Construction .

Water Gap, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled Vol. 34 p.84. pf u.S. d., p.1474. "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters", approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act . Acquisition of ap- SEC. 2 . To ll Brid ge Commi ssion of the St ate of Pennsylv ania an d the St ate of New Jersey all such rights and powers to enter upon the lands an d to ac quire, c ondemn, occupy, posses s, and u se real estate and other property needed for the location, construction, maintenance, and operation of such bridge and its approaches, as are possessed by railroad corporations for railroad purposes or by bridge corporations for bridge purposes in the State in which such real estate or other property is situated, upon making just compensation therefor, to be ascertained and paid according to the laws of such State, and the proceedings therefor shall be the same as in the condemnation or ex ropriation of property for public purposes in such State . EC. 3 . The said Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission of Vol.34, p.85. the State of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey is hereby authorized to fix and charge tolls for transit over such bridge, and the rates of toll so fixed shall be the legal rates until changed by the Secretary of War under the authority contained in the Act of March 23, 1906 . ation~ sppl i dtooper- SEC . 4 .
